The PMP consists of 180 questions - a mix of multiple-choice, multiple response, matching, hotspot, and limited fill-in-the-blank. About half the questions involve agile or hybrid scenarios. You get two 10-minute breaks during the exam.
Most successful candidates study for 8-12 weeks using a combination of flashcards for domain knowledge and timed practice exams for pacing. The exam is built around the ECO, not the PMBOK - study tools aligned with the current ECO produce better results.
