Avoid Compensatory Napping

Sleep Consistency and Study Scheduling

The practical implication is clear: your study schedule and your sleep schedule should be designed together. Studying at the same time each day, aligned with your circadian peak in alertness (typically mid-morning or early afternoon for most people), produces better encoding than studying at random times.
